Episode 267: Small Bites from Pure Professor: Wood/Spring Element
For episode 267, we are once again joined by our dear friend and mentor, Katherine Metz, for another installment in our series Small Bites from Pure Professor. This month’s Small Bite is all about spring time and the Wood Element. Related to upward movement and growth, Wood is most commonly associated with the energy of spring and the colors green and blue. From the BTB perspective, Wood is often understood as benevolent and kind, supporting greater empathy, understanding and diplomacy. On today’s show we take a good look at how we can work with the energy of the Wood Element to better nurture and support these qualities in our own lives and homes.
Episode 266: Feng Shui Qi Forecast: March 2024
In this episode, we’re sharing a feng shui qi forecast for the month of March 2024! First, we discuss what’s going on in nature and what you can expect energetically this month, and then Laura shares a tarot reading for the Holistic Spaces Podcast listener community. We also share a feng shui suggestion to make the most of this month’s energy.
Episode 265: Mindful Living: Spring Cleaning Challenge
Though it may still be very cold in many places, by the Lunar calendar, the transition to spring has already begun. The amount of daylight that we receive each day will continue to increase until the summer solstice in June, during which the longest period of daylight occurs. Many cultures celebrate this shift in seasons with cleaning and other cleansing rituals. For episode 265 we are excited to present a feng shui spring cleaning challenge as now is the perfect time to tackle projects and new feng shui adjustments to clear and reset.
Episode 264: Small Bites from Pure Professor: Romance
It’s Valentine’s Day and to discuss the season of romance and partnership we are once again joined by our dear friend and mentor, Katherine Metz, to talk all things feng shui and relationship. Today’s episode is a fun one where we each share stories, both personal and professional, about simple feng shui adjustments to invite in more romance. From adding rose quartz to your nightstand to placing a plant in the relationships area of your home, feng shui can be an invaluable resource in attracting the love that you deserve.
Episode 263: Nine Star Ki for 2024 Year of the Dragon
Once again it’s time for our annual Nine Star Ki forecast episode! Nine Star Ki is a form of astrology that is deeply connected to feng shui, and it’s a tool that we teach all of our students in the Mindful Design School. In this episode, we’ll teach you how to calculate your number and what that means about the energy coming your way in 2024.
Episode 262: Feng Shui Qi Forecast: February 2024
As we enter into February 2024, we are back with another monthly qi forecast. For episode 262 Laura takes us through the key solar dates for the month and Anjie does an I Ching reading, asking what does the Holistic Spaces Podcast Listener community need to hear to best receive supportive energy for February 2024? We explore how to best work with the energy of the month as we move closer to spring, and much more. A relatable team!
I have been learning more and more about feng shui and I love that Laura and Angie make it relatable. Not every recipe works for the same client and home and I think that’s refreshing to know what works for one doesn’t work for all. There’s lots of fun tips in their podcast to be able to make small changes without being overwhelmed!
