    Running Down A League

    Running Down A League

On this episode of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast, Elan and Brian are inspired by the recent Joc Pederson vs. Tommy Pham fantasy drama to summarize and scrutinize four of the most controversial fantasy hockey commissioner decisions they had to make this season for the Keeping Karlsson Ultimate Fantasy Patron League (KKUPFL), and also weigh on in additional tense (and kind of funny) league drama shared by our listeners.
Before that, we drop our fantasy hockey thoughts on what we've seen in the Stanley Cup Playoffs since we last checked in, and also share the early results of our Offseason Fantasy Patron Player Rankings, where Kirill Kaprizov has surprisingly(?) leapfrogged a pretty sizable group of stars.

Best in the Biz

Must listen for all fantasy hockey managers, rookies and pros, this weekly fantasy pod is for everyone.

My favorite thing about driving to work

I commute 1 hour to and 1 hour from work every day, so this is one of my favorite things to look forward to during those drives. I’m a university Professor, so I do a lot of public speaking and I think Elan and Brian are excellent public speakers!

They obviously spend a lot of time (from their other jobs) crafting episodes and researching fantasy hockey content. Elan has great enthusiasm and I think is an excellent public speaker. Even though he talks fast (usually due to excitement), it’s quite clear what his thought processes are for drafting/adding/dropping players. I appreciate Brian’s comments about statistical “under the hood” analysis, and I think he pairs well with Elan. Their silly jokes have me laughing on the way to work. “Do you recommend adding Nick Foligno?” “Nick Folig NO WAY.” Keep up the good work guys!

keewea ,

Positive and helpful

This show is a huge part of my fantasy strategy.
They have fun, don’t take each other too seriously, but do the research that saves you time.
