We are experiencing revival here at LCM! With 7 days into our 40 day challenge, Adonai’s manifold presence is breaking out in our midst! Both Pastor Wade and Pastor Matthew delivered a stellar message entitled “Confidence to Get Closer”. Peering through the life of David, the son of Jesse, we were inspired by the confidence that David had and faithfully demonstrated in his day. When we know what is inside of us, and the experiences that we have had with our King, giants fall, and sons and daughters rise in confidence. So today, we are not going to throw away our confidence. Rather, we are going to stand up confidently and take the necessary biblical steps to draw closer to Adonai, who has called us to be sons of the living God. We will speak boldly and let our light shine, because we have what the world desperately needs.

There is a lot to glean from the life of Samuel! He stands out as one of the most unique prophets and figure in all of Israel.
In this sermon preached by brothers Justin Treaster & J.J. Molock, we glean from the things Samuel got right and the things he got wrong.
We learn that even the most Godly can mourn in a way that God may not approve of, but also have seen the way in which God can open our eyes and ears that we might hear again. The answer was clear in Samuels life, to be hollowed out like the horn Samuel carried and to go fill it again with oil to anoint future kings. That is what we will and are doing.

A 40 Day Challenge has been issued by Adonai to His people and we have accepted this challenge; To run after Him with all that for the purpose of getting closer to Him. In this sermon, Pastor Linton, Pastor Matthew and Pastor Abimbola helped us stoked a hunger and a fire for the living God. We are learning to rise up in those moments after failure, and do the things that we did at first for the sake of others. Today (and for the next 40 days), we are going back to the House of God to build on the initial experiences He has given us. The outcome of this 40 Day Challenge is certain, and it will result in a supernatural outpouring of the Father's Spirit. This is our 40 Day Challenge of getting closer to God!

We're getting closer & going higher! This was an inspirational message aimed at getting us to recognize the opportunity that is right before. That is that the father is calling to us to come closer to him. He's calling us up higher, whereby we can bypass the schemes of the enemy that are aimed at getting us to settle for a lower standard of living. The stranger whispers that we are disqualified and ill-equipped from this sort of intimate connection with the father but these are lies. We know the voice of our good shepherd and he bids us, come up higher.

“I Gotta Get Closer” is a heart’s cry and longing for the King of Kings. He is all that we want and all that we desire. He is reigniting a hunger inside of us that can only be satisfied by Him. Both Pastor Eric and Justin Treaster, deliver a soul stirring and inspiring word that calls us higher in our intimacy, friendship, and longing for our Father. Let this message challenge you. Let it inspire you to reach out for more of Him, because He desires to show you all of His goodness!

Our goal is the "Friend Zone". It's the place where our life and identity are solidified and strengthened.
