Transforming Parenthood With the Magic of Babywearing
Formerly known as "TheBabyGuyNYC", Jamie Grayson began as a theatre nerd before becoming a renowned baby gear expert after an exciting 4 1/2-year journey as a product demonstrator and personal shopper at buybuyBaby in Manhattan. He also spent a year at New York City's top birth education center.
Armed with an Angry Baby and no filter, Jamie quickly became one of the most well-respected experts in the baby gear and child safety space for over a decade. Now based in Denver, Colorado, Jamie is passionate about helping parents like you make decisions on the best baby gear you can use to make life simpler and more enjoyable through honest and entertaining product testing and reviews.
Before the pandemic, Jamie frequently traveled the world to speak at events for expectant parents, shared his daily life through Instagram and Facebook Live videos, and worked directly with brands one-on-one. Now you'll find him running a really fun virtual baby registry event called Baby Registry Lab and he's the creator of the Baby Gear Showdown! You may also know him from previously attending musicals and hanging out at Alamo Drafthouse, but now he's pretty much always experimenting in the kitchen, and drinking copious amounts of coffee. And wine. Let's not forget that!

Navigating Motherhood: Insights on Connection and Mental Wellness
This week, we're chatting with Dr. Veronica Eyo, a licensed clinical social worker in Los Angeles who specializes in working with mothers. We're talking about the power of connection, maternal mental health, and how to honor the season you're in.
Dr. Veronica Eyo is an LCSW in Los Angeles who specializes in working with mothers, new and seasoned, in navigating the challenges of parenthood. She has worked with clients throughout different stages of life, however, she transitioned her practice to working with mothers, specifically mothers of color, after she became a mom and noticed a lack of representation in therapists during her personal healing journey.
Dr. Eyo has a special passion for student mothers and focused her dissertation research on identifying the factors that influence the success of student mothers in higher education institutions. She has advanced training in diagnosing and treating antenatal and Perinatal Mental Health Disorders (PMADs), as well as trauma and infertility.
She is certified in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International and a certified Fair Play Facilitator. Additionally, Dr. Eyo is certified in Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
