The world will tell us that it is possible to live a life free from worry, care and conflict. That’s what the world will say, or try and sell us on. But the Bible tells us the truth – if we follow Jesus, then like Jesus, conflict and difficulty in this life is unavoidable. But God’s word, has more truth for us, and it’s the truth we’re going to today in 1 Peter 3 where we’ll learn how to live prepared for difficulty. If conflict is coming…what can we do?

How would you describe hope? For the Christ-follower, hope is the essential ingredient to persevering the trials and storms of this present life. Paul's hope was rooted in Christ's promises and dictated his perspective, knowing that the sufferings of this present time cannot compare to the glory that awaits us at the coming of our Lord. Hope is the fruit of true salvation and changes the way we live now! Be encouraged today by this message as we learn about the power of hope.

Hope and Holiness for wives is our message today here on LITL, and as we’ll see through God’s Word, real beauty for a wife – or any woman for that matter - is not skin-deep. Beauty in the Lord’s eyes is more than what you would see on the magazine covers at the grocery store.
