#50: Meb Keflezighi - Olympic Silver Medalist, NYC and Boston Marathon Champion, Escaping poverty & war, Better with age, Importance of family and education Le Run Down

    • Running

For our 50th episode of Le Run Down we reached for the stars and got to have an amazing conversation with Meb Keflezighi.
His story is one that could be turned into a movie script as his family left a world of poverty and war in Eritrea and made their way to America. He knew that every opportunity was precious, and he did not squander the chance to do something great with his life.
He worked his way up the ranks, earning a silver medal at the olympics and winning the New York City and Boston marathons, but always remained grateful and humble throughout his journey. This episode is a little shorter than most but make sure you listen to every word because just like in running, Meb makes every moment count.
