This podcast allows runners to connect and envision what they could become. Everyone starts somewhere but it’s how you move forward that determines which path you’ll take. For some, running is just exercise, however we believe it is much more than that: it’s mental, physical and in some cases even spiritual. Our guests are inspiring in terms of their accomplishments but they put one foot in front of the other just like everyone else.

#113: Ben Leclair woke up paralyzed from the neck down, today he's looking to beat his 12.2km performance
We have some big news, the time has come for our first Le Run Down host Justin Pugliese to move on, good news for all of you, Justin has launched his own podcast, @justinstridepod. Give it a listen!
While we begin our search for a new host for the show, our guest hosts emma.deguara and leslie woods interview pro wakeboarder, Ben Leclair for his second appearance on the pod.
Catch the first episode #16 with Ben Leclair here.
Heads up! Both Ben and Emma are francophones, so we go back and forth between French and English.
I want to apologize in advance, if you're not bi-lingual, you may have trouble following along with the conversation.
We will be publishing a video of the episode that will include subtitles.

The video we played at the start of our conversation with Ben is Natural Playground recorded in late 2016.
The Q&A that followed the interview asked Ben how he edits videos with his injuries. Here is a video of Ben showing his editing setup.
That's all for now, gotta run.

#112: Jerry Hughes - Endurance athlete, Ultra, Adversity, Gardner's Syndrome, 48 Hour Canadian Record, Marathons, 100 Milers
On this episode of Le Run Down I had an eye opening conversation with ultra runner, Jerry Hughes.
He overcame adversity far before getting into running, pushing forward through his diagnosis and treatment for Gardner's Syndrome.
He used running as a way to improve his health and quickly realized endurance was for him. From marathons, to 100 milers and now the Canadian 48 hour record, he's inspiring the run community and proving that we are all capable of so much more than we think.

On this episode of Le Run Down I had a fun conversation with professional triathlete, Katie Zaferes.
Katie was a natural runner growing up becoming a multi-time cross country champion in High School. She was later identified by the USA Triathlon Recruitment Program and never looked back.
She's been competing at the Elite level for almost 10 years now and has shown steady progress throughout her career. Katie thought that starting a family would slow her down but instead it's fueled her fire for competition.

On this episode of Le Run Down I had a nice fun chat with comedic content creator and distance runner, Laura Green.
She loves to run and crack jokes and combines those two passions to create hilarious reels for all of us to enjoy.
Laura pokes fun at all the quirky things runners do and think about, during training or leading up to a race. She reminds us to laugh, lighten up, and just have fun.

Perfect run commute podcast
I really enjoy this podcast for many reasons. Amazing guests but also the quality of the interviews. I run to work every day all year round and get so excited for every new episode! Please keep them coming!
Amazing Podcast
I have been listening to Le Rundown since the beginning. One of the things I like about this podcast is the host, Justin Pugliese. He is able to enlighten us about each guests and their running experience in a well balanced and structured conversation.
In addition, his variety of guests speak on a wide range of subjects despite being all distance/endurance athletes. I was able to relate to some of them and I appreciated that.
This podcast is a must. Thanks Justin!
Great content. Very Interesting guests.
Very first time listening to podcasts and loving it! I used to dread getting on my stationary bike in morning but listening to interviews with different sports people is so inspiring and has really motivated me. I am hooked.
Please continue.
