The show raises deep questions about the way we view Australia in a time of climate crisis and cultural uncertainty. Through stories of lost explorer Ludwig Leichardt, it brings the European scientific idea of 'collection' into dialogue with Gulf country Indigenous cultural mapping. The installation uses these same cultural questions to think deeply about the Mornington Peninsula as (Indigenous Boon Wurrung/ Bunurong) country.
