Celebrations! First Course Completed!
I am in a celebratory mood as I have submitted all of my assignments for my very first course in FNP school! I can’t wait to start my next class, which opens on Saturday. I also give an update regarding what I’ve been doing to keep me busy in between courses. See you next week for another episode. For comments or questions, email me at owl_midnitediaries@yahoo.com

Pre-Studying for FNP Clinicals: Apps (Part 2)
Another long episode, but more direct information. This is Part 2 of the two-episode series on how I pre-study for FNP clinical (as well as didactic and the boards). This time I am going to share about the apps I use to study. I use these when I have idle time. They really challenge my brain. By the way, you can now directly email me to send in your comments and questions. I would love to hear from you. Email me at owl_midnitediaries@yahoo.com.

Pre-Studying for FNP Clinicals: Books and Other Resources (Part 1)
Just realized that most of the content in this episode was talked about in a previous episode. Talk about mom brain (or student brain.) no worries. This has additional info compared to the previous episode. Warning: long episode. I rambled on. This is the first episode of a 2-episode series on how I pre-study for FNP clinical. In this episode, I talk about what book I use to study concepts related to family medicine and talk about podcasts that I listen to. Next week, I will post the 2nd episode in the series, which will focus on apps I use to pre-study for clinicals.

Thoughts on Malpractice Insurance
No, we don’t want to get sued. I’ve been tasked to talk about the benefits of malpractice insurance. Listen to my ramblings about what I’ve read and heard about malpractice and watching out for your back by buying your own insurance.

Tidbits about Credentialing & Privileges & How I Prep for Clinical Courses
Warning! This is not a well thought out episode. I fee like I just rambled about my textbook readings on credentialing and privileges. Then, I go on a spiel about how I pre-study clinical topics even though I am still in the theory/nursing foundations courses of the FNP program. Please do chime in on the conversation!

Benefits and Influence of AANP Membership
Just want to reflect on what I get and what I do as an AANP student member.
