Conscious Motherhood with Trish Boes
Motherhood can be a complex conversation for many. In this episode, Trish and I unpack what it means to be a mixed kid having mixed kids, what conscious mothering looks like when you're raising a global citizen...and what exactly it means to be a global citizen. Pulling themes from previous episodes like Alisha's episode about crossing cultures & borders, Trish talks about the ways her own movement has informed the way she's choosing to raise her daughter and the professional path she's taking. If you're interested in Trish's new business venture UnlimitMe you can check it out here: https://unlimitme.co/

Crossing Cultures & Borders with Alisha Neverson
This is our first Mixed Feelings Radio interview of the season and our first episode that actually crosses borders! Listen as we unpack crossing cultures, crossing borders, and the nuances of being black depending on where you are in the States, Canada, the Grenadines, or even Brazil. Alisha and I discuss the social impacts of social media, choosing sides, discrimination and violence, tough conversations with family, and what it means to be a mixed black woman living in the States in 2023.

Season 1 Round Table: The Power of a Name
To celebrate the launch of Mixed Feelings Radio Season 2, we sat down with our friends from Season 1 to discuss the complexities, intimacies, and intricacies of our names. We all have one and with it sometimes comes joy but equally, the possibility of grief. As mixed people, our names are that much more important to how we choose to identify. In this episode, you'll hear Hannah, Will, Arman, Jon, and Greg explore their mixed feelings about their given names, nicknames, and chosen names. We sat down together in one room to really connect and foster the community we've all been longing for.
Stay tuned for Season 2 coming soon!

What's in a name? with Kelsea Knowles-Au
Many people (mixed and not) have complicated relationships with their given names. For me, it has been a traumatic point of stress at times, and an opportunity to celebrate at other times. In this solo episode, I explore my own name and the mixed feelings I have about it. We also discuss the end-of-season round table coming in the fall.

Fatherhood with Greg Washington
In the final conversation of the season, I talk all things "Fatherhood" with my friend & new father Greg. With complicated relationships with our fathers comes many mixed feelings. This episode covers topics we've discussed throughout the season: representation, being an undercover POC, the masculinization of black men, and everything in between. When we think about fathers, we sometimes think of the ones we had (or didn't), the ones we hope to be, or hoped we had, and the ones that come into our lives in unexpected ways. I'm grateful to have been a sounding board for some never-before-had conversations and a platform to unpack some feelings about fatherhood with Greg.
