Customer Reviews
The only movie podcast that I listen to
I work in a movie theatre and I am surrounded by movies all the time. I love my job, but I don't always want to come in to work and watch a movie. Listening to movie date every week is awesome for me, I get to hear about stuff I haven't seen, whether it's limited release or I'm not interested. I can also get a different perspective from my own. I really enjoy the two hosts (don't want to misspell any names!), they riff off each other wonderfully and talk like old friends. Plus, awesome rating system. Who needs stars when you can rate something on dates. I think movie date is a wonderful date! :)
Vastly entertaining
The hosts' love and knowledge of movies and their quick wits and obvious enjoyment of themselves and each other make hearing about even the worst movie nicely amusing. Great job! I never miss it.
Smart and Funny
This is a great movie review podcast. The hosts are informed and they have very good chemistry. Differing points of view and dialogue often lead to very sharp filmic insight. But they seriously need to get a tech guy. Bad levels and sound miscues take away from the conversation.
