Sean Avery: A 12-year NHL Hockey career and one of the most legendary NY Rangers who called Madison Square Garden, “The Most Famous Arena in The World”, home. In a NY Ranger Jersey, Sean was the first professional athlete from the “Big 4” to endorse New York State’s push for Marriage Equality as well as the first pro to intern at Vogue Magazine during the off-season. Sean Avery wrote the best-selling memoir, Ice Capade, on the Penguin Random House imprint. He then transitioned into a brand-new acting career with credits to-date in director Peter Berg’s Patriots Day, Mile 22 and most recently, Chris Nolan’s upcoming blockbuster TENET. So naturally, the No Gruffs Given Podcast was the next step. An unapologetic conversation only a true narcissist like Sean can only have with himself, which people will hate, and people will love. Enjoy one of greatest trash talkers ever in professional sports on his podcast, No Gruffs Given.

Thank you
My brother, who is hockey fan, introduced me to your Instagram feed because I am a cyclist and you were calling out motorists who were parked in the cycling lane. I loved it, especially the” googly eyed “ chirp. I loved it so much that I bought your book and started listening to your podcast.
Thank you for encouraging people to be less fat and disgusting. The ‘look good feel good’ program is what this country needs ( I’m Canadian). Thank you for being a critical thinker and publicly speaking with logic and common sense.
Inconsistent
It’s been almost 3 weeks since an episode was posted. People have lives, that I understand but it’s not like this is a huge production.. it’s 30-60 mins once a week. I could do that, and if I wasn’t a pigeon, and had your life- itd be a sinch.
Episode 49 with O’Brian
This is the type guest that I want to hear great episode wish it was bit longer. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy the podcast in general and enjoy hearing Sean’s opinion on everything not just hockey which I’m sure gets tiresome for Sean… Old stories like getting locked in the dressing room old school style brings a smile to my face :)
Cheers from North Bay Ontario home of Sean’s favourite poutine from Burgerworld
