Number one pod in my rankings of importance. Inside jokes, informative and smart. Makes me like pro golf more.

Jumping the shark?

In general, this is an excellent podcast. However, I’m worried it might be jumping the shark. The irreverant, freewheeling, outsider vibe is what made them succesful, but now that they’ve gained more access to top players, they’re starting to lose that edge. Plus, there is nothing more yawn-inducing than player content. Very few active players have anything interesting to say. Finally, can we vote Neil off the No Laying Up island? I love everyone else, but I find Neil’s metaphors and hyperbolic personality irritating. Whenever he’s on he kills the vibe for me.

LIV Bashing

I just absolutely cannot stand the sound of Solly‘s voice. These guys are so biased it is unbelievable. He says it didn’t even cross his mind to tune into Myakoba on Sunday except for the PGA got rained out. Why would you not have some interest with a leaderboard the way it was? I actually watched most of the tournament and it was entertaining. Sunday afternoon was actually really good to watch. I’m just so sick of these NLU boys I don’t know how anybody can listen to them. I stop listening and I give them a try again and it’s just the same old LIV bashing episode after episode. I’m done and TC is an idiot. SO IS SOLLY. I like KVV.
