Hi everyone! Welcome back to another episode! This week on the podcast we discuss positive psychology in relation to micro-moments. How micro-moments affect our overall happiness, which also then affects our overall mental & physical health. We walk through some founding facts & studies by one of the pioneers of positive psychology, Barbara Fredrickson. Her theory Broaden & Build, positivity resonance, & more. It reveals how creating positive habits is beneficial more than becoming "more structured", but creating supportive behaviors relates to our happiness levels. I hope you enjoy the episode! Ep. 18. BIRTHDAY EPISODE - Lessons I Learned at 26 that Made this My Most Transformational Year

Hi everyone! What a year it has been! I can't believe how much has happened since making the decision to start a podcast, which was about a year or so ago. Since that moment I've switched careers, increased my salary, launched a podcast, and enrolled in a life coaching credential program. It has been a year of IMMENSE clarity. In this episode, I walk through what I learned throughout the process and what allowed me the confidence to take some of those jumps. There was a ton of trial and error and what I learned after this year, I wish I knew sooner because it took me about 1-2 years to understand these lessons. I hope this episode is helpful! If so, leave a rating on Spotify, review on Apple Podcast, and share with your friends to spread the love. Thank you habit lovers!

Ep. 17. Failing Led to My Success - Mitigating Burnout & Imposter Syndrome to Transition into a Dream Career with Design Technologist Branon Eusebio

Ep. 17. Failing Led to My Success - Mitigating Burnout & Imposter Syndrome to Transition into a Dream Career with Design Technologist Branon Eusebio

Hi everyone! This week on the podcast we have software engineer, or more specifically design technologist, Branon Eusebio. Branon originally was working in the neuroscience industry and decided to make a career jump into software engineering without a background in it at all. He walks through how he strategically made this transition with burnout in mind when enrolling in a self-paced software engineering program and how he was able to successfully set boundaries in learning & personally. We discuss his journey in the job market and how he dealt with rejection, continued to trust, and how he continued to take steps forward towards his goals through many struggles along the way. This is a great episode for those who are looking to jump into the software engineering path and also good for anyone transitioning into a new career. We walkthrough Linkedin and what mindset and strategy is best when applying for jobs, so you can get the most out of your application experience, plus more. Throughout the episode the message is to fail at many things and not be afraid to "suck" because statistically at one point you won't fail and you won't suck. Failure has led to some of the best successes because we trust that we will reach our goal no matter the timeline. I hope you enjoy the episode! If so, please leave a review on Apple Podcasts, a rating on Spotify, or share with your friends to spread the love. Thank you habit lovers!

Ep. 16. Is the Party Girl Identity Making You Identity as "Lazy"? - Experimenting & Having Fun with Micro-Habits to See Your True Self with Mindset & Podcast Coach Chelsea Riffe

Hi everyone! This week on the episode we have Podcast & Mindset Coach, Chelsea Riffe. As many of you may know, Chelsea was my podcast coach and has been an INCREDIBLE resource for the launch of this podcast. Beyond that she has launched a successful podcast coaching program called Mic Drop. That has done so well, that she is now launching labs and VIP days to help those with specific topics where you can deep dive and get truly constructive information to help you succeed at your craft. The first one is Thursday, May 26th called Interview Lab (links will be below).

All that to say, in this episode we have SO much fun. We got to be live in the studio together in LA and talk about her honest habit journey and how habits are changing her life today. She gets vulnerable on where she started and how she made a complete life shift through a lot of trial and error that has now led her to creating a successful business and creating better habits that support her and who she wants to be. We walk through every stage of her journey and I think it is an extremely relatable episode. I hope you all enjoy! If so, leave a review and/or share with your friends to spread the love. Ep. 14. Why We Need Community - Life Changing Aspects of Community, Story Sharing, & Asking For Help with Chemo Club Founder Allie O'Brien

Hi everyone! Today on the podcast we interview founder of Chemo Club, Allie O'Brien. Chemo Club is company that is dedicated to shattering the taboo around chemotherapy, the affects of chemotherapy, and to create a community that is focussed on love. Allie birthed this company out of wanting this resource for herself when at 24 years old her mom was diagnosed with colon cancer and needing a resource and positive support group that she could relate too. Chemo Club is a hub where every Sunday they share a story of someone going through chemotherapy or someone who has family members/friends going through chemotherapy and they speak on their experience and what their life takeaways are. Allie discusses how shifting the perspective from doom and gloom to positivity and light when sick changed her life personally when taking care of her mom. Now she's watching this mindset change other people's lives as well. I can't wait for everyone to hear this interview! Please leave a review and share with your friends. Thank you habit lovers!
