BunneryBoop ,

Finally get to enjoy my subscription!

Although we do pay for Private Eye and my husband reads it religiously, between three kids, two dogs, one full time job plus a writing gig on the side, I rarely have time to sit down and look at actual print publications. I have to rely on audiobooks and podcasts that I listen to during my commute for the majority of my reading.
I was thrilled when I discovered Page 94 and even more overjoyed when I actually listened to one! This podcast combines the features of some of my favourite podcasts. I like podcasts like The Daily Show podcast that reveal the inner workings of the show and what goes on behind the scenes in creating it, but I also enjoy in-depth, informative interviews like those in the BBC History Extra podcast, to name just a couple.
Page 94 has created the perfect balance - I love the interviews with Ian about the thinking that goes into the editing process and the history of this iconic magazine, as well as the interviews with the writers about some of the big and/or overlooked stories of the day. They're fascinating and revealing, and executed with a humour that helps to take the edge off what are sometimes bleak and depressing issues.
My only disappointment is that I just found it yesterday and I’m almost all caught up today! More please!
