Tommy Hughes Has Broken Over 10 World Records for Running
I chat to local (Northern Ireland) running legend, Tommy Hughes (60) ahead of his attempt to break two marathon world records in the M60 age category. Tommy holds several world records and represented Ireland at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona.
We talk about his upcoming latest attempt, his time at the Olympics, his struggles with alcohol, his proudest moment (it wasn't the Olympics), his thoughts on innovations in running shoes and his many records.
