I want to thank you for sharing your story. I actually am from Thunder Bay and I remember meeting Gillis a couple times. I can share what I remember in some way if you wanted me to, but do not want to do so in this way on this post, out of respect. What I will say is that he struck me as a very good soul despite everything. A few years later someone told me he was doing time and it didn’t fit what my impression of him was. I think you are destined for more and hopefully this way by sharing will help a lot of people in ways you wouldn’t imagine.

Unbelievable

It is crazy what this man has lived through! Despite all the bad and illegal things he has done, you can't help but like Gillis. Some really fascinating stories that I find myself thinking of even after I stop listening.
