Episode 40: Artist Interview with Robert Lee from Methane Studios
Holy moly, we've hit FORTY (40) episodes. Today is momentous for so many reasons. Not only, do we have 40 episodes so far, but we are so damn lucky to have one of the OG Dave Matthews Band artists, Mr. Robert Lee from Methane Studios. We had the best time chatting all things poster art, DMB print history, some stories around being human and the fun that is art and gig poster collecting. Robert has a wealth of stories and history in the gig poster community, and we loved learning about how him and Mark started Methane Studios. You may even hear a special (and very recent) story about the never before seen Dale Matthews Band (IYKYK). You can find Robert and Mark's artwork (aka Methane Studios) on their website www.methanestudios.com and find their shop via Etsy (Methane Studios). Episode 39: Cut The Cards and Deal Them
This episode is part one of a six part series where we are going to be reviewing the 2009 “card series“ by Methane Studios. Mike and Erica chat about the very popular card series that they’ve been collecting for over 15 years. Today, we focus on a deep dive on the ten of spades from Burgetstown PA in July 2009. This was the final and most recent acquisition to our collection, and an incredibly special one at that. Big shout out to our friend Lucas for finding this incredible piece for our collection!!

Episode 38: Full of Beautifully Broken Things (Artist Interview with Jim Mazza)
Today's episode is a DEEP DIVE into the incredible triptych by Jim Mazza from Dave & Tim Mexico 2024. We were so excited to take an adventure into this underwater world that Jim created for the event this past February. Not only do we get to review these 3 posters, we have Jim on to share some artist insight and chat with us about inspiration for this set. We also had a great time learning how Jim got into gig art (his grit and passion for poster art is inspiring), and some fun "poster adjacent" items that he has in the works! We hope you enjoy this conversation and artist interview with the incredible Jim Mazza. You can find Jim's work on his Instagram @mazza_art and his website to purchase his APs www.mazza.bigcartel.com *Where you maybe able to find some APs of this triptych still available!!
