PP156 The Power of Thank You
How's this for a novel idea: telling other Christians why you thank God for them. That's what Paul does to his friends in Philippi, and there's good reason to believe he wants us to do the same. In fact, this novel idea can change how we pray, and the way we encourage each other. It can also drive us to more Christlike behaviour, and to a richer, more God-centred, theology. In this episode we also talk about the inductive Bible study method (observation, interpretation, application), and how to apply verses that seem far removed from us.

PP155 Going Gluten-Free
Facing temptation is something we have in common with every other human being, including the Lord Jesus. In an episode that explores the combination of the Lord's true humanity and sinless deity, we also learn from the Lord how we can become stronger in the face of temptation - even if that means going gluten-free.

PP154 When the Gospel Becomes Irrepressible
Sharing our faith in Christ with unbelievers does not come easy for most of us. How can the gospel go from being something we can't get out to being something we can't keep in? The Apostle Paul shows us how we can grow in this area in the opening verses of his letter to the Philippians.

Encouraging
I really appreciated the honest conversations in episodes 139 and 140. It’s always encouraging to hear about someone finding the goodness of God in the midst, and at the end, of hard times, when they can look back and see how He was working all things together for good. So thank you!
Great to listen to
Thank you for this podcast! I love the conversation format and the practical insight. As a teen newly accepted into fellowship, I benefit greatly from this podcast. The practical applications are so helpful! One thing I would suggest is having some female presence on the podcast to add even more relatability. Again, thank you so much!
Truth in Love
As a stay at home, struggling daily with depression and anxiety, this podcast often is a life raft that keeps my head above water, as I continue to learn and trust that Solid Rock that will never move. The waves of despair may keep tearing me down, but I am learning that my foundation is firm, I will not/cannot be broken.
The balance of truth in love in these men are inspiring, hopeful and Christ like. Keep balancing that tight rope of truth and love:) Christ is doing an awesome work in you both!!
