5 Tips to Maximize Every Prenatal Appointment
You see a midwife or OBGYN because they are the experts in prenatal care, pregnancy, and birth. They are trained to identify risks, ensure you and your baby are healthy, and assist you in navigating pregnancy and childbirth. In the nine months you are pregnant, you can expect to have around 14 prenatal appointments. Each appointment allows your care provider to monitor you and your baby, administer tests, and perform procedures. These visits are your opportunity to discuss your symptoms and prenatal care options, plan for birth, and ask questions. There is so much to cover in each of these visits, some of which can be as short as 15 minutes or less. Learning some basic information and applying simple practices will allow you to prepare for your prenatal appointments and make the most out of your limited time with your doctor or midwife.

20% off Mommy Steps or Form insoles with the promo code FEET. Studies show pregnancy can make your feet grow. In one study, 61% of participants had a measurable increase in foot length, and 22% reported going up a shoe size. The thought of going up a shoe size and having to replace every pair of shoes you own might freak you out. The good news is that wearing insoles can protect your feet from going up in size.

Great content - too many ads
I’m a regular listener and I absolutely love the content. It’s obvious how much time and effort is put into the research based information provided. I do find the ads to be way too much and it impacts my enjoyment. In some of the shorter episodes, more than 30% of the content is ad related.
Amazing podcast and host
Best pregnancy podcast of them all. I love Vanessa and her science based content. So informative and concise. Her voice is just soft enough but dynamic and engaged. I recently started from the beginning again as I am TTC.
I’m certain the people complaining about the ads could spare the low monthly fee for the premium podcast but chose to spend those few dollars on something less valuable.
Thank you Vanessa for all that you do. It is very precious and appreciated.
Great topics but WAAAY too many ads!
This podcast is super helpful, informative
