Great listen

A well written and interesting angle the on well-tread ground of popular historical figures. I find myself coming back every week! I also like the less formal follow-up episodes with guests after each scripted episode.

Cliché soundtrack and accents need to go

Feeling conflicted about this podcast. On one hand, it looks at important but not as often talked about side stories in history, and it’s fairly well-produced. On the other hand, I can’t get past the on-the-nose and comical soundtrack as well as the accents put on by the narrators while speaking as non-Americans, so cliché and stereotypical it almost sounds like mocking others. So, it’s like expanding Americans’ minds and restricting their worldview all at the same time.
