    Spacewalk Trailer

    Spacewalk Trailer

Hello everyone, it’s me Tim Dodd the everyday astronaut, this is spacewalk, my new podcast where I answer your questions about rockets and Spaceflight one step at a time, literally.

Alright! Spacewalk huh? What’s the deal with that you might be asking? Well, by popular request, I’m finally returning to the podcasting scene, but this is something different. Quite different.

In fact you might notice something different already, you may hear footsteps, or me breathing a little heavier, or birds, or traffic or people, that’s because spacewalk is you coming along a walk with me to chat together spaceflight!

Now beyond just trying to stay healthy and hit two birds with one stone, the other reason for this format is, as you likely know I’m ALWAYS traveling, in 2021, I spent almost 300 days away from home, which made it almost impossible to schedule livestreams and podcasts from my studio space.

So for spacewalk, I might do one of these at home, or in the airport, or on the beach waiting for a rocket to launch, or maybe while charging my car on a road trip, who knows when or where, and that’s kind of half the fun!

And instead of doing just space news since there’s already so many amazing podcasts and YouTube channels covering space news, I’ll be answering your questions about some of the most exciting current topics.

If you want your questions answered live on air, or I guess live on foot? Or by foot? Just use hashtag #spacewalkpodcast and we’ll take questions from there each episode, but we’ll also be taking questions from our patron supporters, YouTube members and X subscribers as well as a thank you

You’ll be able to find spacewalk on the official Spacewalk YouTube channel that is separate from Everyday Astronaut, be sure and subscribe there, or you’ll also be able to find it on any RSS reader so Apple Podcasts or Spotify or whatever.

So that’s spacewalk! I can’t wait to have more casual conversations with you all and hear what things you want to talk about mos each episode, so I hope you join me on my next spacewalk!

Best Q&A about space

I love Tim and what he is doing. His yt videos are inspiring and very informative and this podcast is no different.

Can’t wait

I’m a big fan of Tim Dodd and am really excited to see this podcast mature, especially after watching the first episode. If you’re some how seeing this Tim, I have a question about engine efficiency, could you explain how you find out the isp of an engine, why it’s measured in seconds and some more context as to why we measure efficiency this way. Thanks for a great podcast!

Awesome informal Q&A with Tim

First episode in and it’s clear what the intended format is, I love it. As always, clear and concise explanations from Tim and it feels like just chatting about current spaceflight events on a casual walk. Nailed it. Can’t wait for future episodes.
