The former #1 overall draft pick of 2021 has hit .180/.288/.230 and has been outperformed by recently DFA'd catcher of the Giants, Joey Bart. With Yasmani Grandal lurking to make his Pirates debut, is it time to send down Davis?

Cody & Ryan break down the action between the Pirates and Brewers from this afternoon. Mitch Keller grinds out a start giving up 4 runs including a home run, but he also struck out 7 batters. Rowdy Tellez continues to hinder the Bucs both offensively and defensively. Collectively, The Pirates bats were putting in work but just not enough against their division rivals.

With the Pirates utilizing a bullpen game for their pitching, they only have up 3 runs (ALL UNEARNED) and did enough to keep this team in the game for a victory. Unfortunately the bates, outside of Bryan Reynolds 2-run HR, were still asleep and unable to capitalize.
