    Wally the Wellfleet Oyster

Wally is the youngest in his family of many, MANY brothers and sisters. It seems that everyone has their pearl, except for Wally. Wally sets out on a quest to search for his pearl. Is the pearl out in the ocean? Does Wally have to go far to find his pearl? What if the pearl is not that far away at all? Tune in to find out where exactly Wally finds his pearl.

Wally the Wellfleet Oyster is written by Elise Shaver and is available for purchase HERE.

Thank you so much for listening. Please share this episode with another friend who perhaps is searching for happiness outside of themselves. This book teaches children (and some adults) how to truly find their magic (and their pearl) by searching within themselves.

    Stella's Brave Voice

    Stella's Brave Voice

This week Stalla and Paige, the fraternal twins are back on the show with Stella's Brave Voice. This book is written by Marissa Bader. We featured the first book on the podcast: The Only Me (click to listen) a few episodes back. Here is what the author had to say about this story:

" In Stella’s Brave Voice, Stella begins reflecting on deeper levels about what it means to be a twin and what it means to be herself. While she may be the more timid and soft-spoken twin, it doesn’t mean she likes Paige speaking on her behalf.

Discover how Stella finds her brave voice that boosts her confidence and strengthens the bond with her sister and best friend."

The book is available for purchase HERE

Listen in to the full episode. Send me a DM on Instagram  at Story Time with Mama V and let me if your young listener has ever had rouble finding their own voice.

Thank you so much for listening. Please share this episode with a friend or family member and I will see you on the next episode of Story Time with Mama V. Bye for Now,

    The Princess Doctor

    The Princess Doctor

There once was a girl who loved being girly. She loved bows, tiaras and being pretty in pink. She also wanted to be a doctor - but her vision of being a doctor included a lot of who she already was -  a girl who loves pink, bows and tiaras and someone who wants to heal others.

Thats what our story is about in this episode where I am reading the Princess Doctor (click title for link to the book) written by Madison Uli. Listen in to the full episode to see how far Addie - our lead character of the book takes her dream.
