After being kicked out of a Paris art gallery, then caught on video bullying a teenager, Tre and Karlie are dropped by their sponsors; luckily, they are offered $100k to promote a mediation app by the mysterious and mercurial influencer Evie. A Fun Thrilling Binge
Love how the writers took an everyday concept then put a horrifying twist on it all. Great acting, great sound. This is a fun listen!
Good and bad
The voice acting was some of the best I've heard yet, but the plot left me a little bored after a few episodes. I think a lot of people would enjoy it, but I'd rather just go read Don't Look Now, by Daphne Du Maurier. More of the lead actress (especially), though. She could have been really corny, but she really brought a wide range of emotions to the character. I listen to a lot of podcasts, so it's kinda wild when the voice talent stands out to me like that. Sound design was good, too.
