I forget.)For sources and more visit the episode page on the website: https://talesofbritainandireland.com/episode-49-Childe-Rowland/

47: The Witch of Eagle’s Crag

This episode we have a tale featuring Lancashire Witches, phenomenal cosmic power, a sort of gap year/nature documentary, an unexpected promotion and a story mash up that almost works if you squint, coming from the pen of Lancashire folklore's most unreliable narrator,

    46: The Hobyahs

    46: The Hobyahs

A fairy tale like story that's meant for children... and may be the most traumatic and violent I've covered yet.
Meet the family: an old woman, an old man and a little girl living in a remote valley with their dog Turpie. Awww!
Meet the Hobyahs - numerous terrible monsters that live all around the valley. Less awww.

MonaN18 ,

Great podcast!

I just found this podcast and I really enjoy it. I love the storytelling and the discussions at the end that include history and character analysis. So much work goes into every episode.

Makes memories with my kid

My 12 year old and I listen to this podcast whenever it’s just the two of us in the car. It’s something special that the two of us share in rare moments alone together. We both love the stories, and the only complaint is that they aren’t more regular. Such a great story teller, and some good accompanying music too.
