223A-Samurai Legends: The Devil went down to Kyoto

223A-Samurai Legends: The Devil went down to Kyoto

Three connected stories of samurai from medieval Japan. On the first, Kintaro, a buff eight-year-old, discovers his destiny. On the second, Watanabe no Tsuna, a samurai warrior in his prime fights a demon that's been terrorizing a gate in Kyoto, and on the third he's recruited by Minamoto no Raiko to follow a magical floating skull to a dilapidated haunted house. All these lead into next week, when the heroes will come together to fight the greatest demon in Japan's history: Shuten-dōji.

222B-Norse Legends: It Takes a Pillage

222B-Norse Legends: It Takes a Pillage

A packed episode with Thor, Odin, mythological dwarves, sword arms, and Valhalla, all ending up with a beautiful double wedding...which ends somehow worse than the last time we visited a giant wedding on this podcast. We're finishing up the saga of Egil and Asmund.

The creature this time is little mucus boy, and if you're a villain, you don't want to get caught monologuing around this sticky, moist little hero.

Honestly everyone is complaining about the amount of ads? I listen for hours on end every night to sleep, and they don’t bother me at all, if I even notice them.
This is 100% my favourite podcast

Amazing Podcast

This is my favourite podcast. It is very interesting, well done, funny and educational. Jason Weiser is excellent and has a very friendly and easy to listen to voice unlike some other podcasts where the topic is interesting but it is so hard to listen to the speaker. I would definitely recommend it for anyone with any interest in fiction, mythology, or history.
