TENDRIL is a radio play-style narrative, set in the year 2287, which follows the epic tale of Cade, Kronist, and Switch: soldiers in the paranormal division of a futuristic Earth's military who face otherworldly threats. As they face down a galaxy of ghosts, demons, and monsters grotesque beyond belief, our brave heroes stare boldly into the abyss, and hope it doesn't have teeth.

Based on a homebrew campaign for Monster of the Week, TENDRIL is a full-scale audio production with original music, lovingly crafted sound design, and professional-quality voice acting. It's like Futurama meets the X-Files. Or Buffy meets Star Trek.

DeejSylvis ,

Definitely suckers you in! (pun intended)

Starts out feeling a bit light and silly, but oh, listeners, that's just drawing you closer for the kill. Excellent space-based adventure / horror, with great voice acting and production!

It’s okay?

The style is kind of inconsistent, and doesn’t balance silly and horror very well. Characters have interesting backstories, but are uncompelling. Some interesting moments, and a bunch of cool ideas, but mediocre execution.

Teacup Lambi ,

A campy-cute adventure.

Sci-fi is very much a hit and miss genre for me. A lot of the time Sci-Fi needs to have visual aids to assist in the world's immersion, not just for the diverse and colourful races and other-wordly environments, but for the technology as well. The Banshee Chronicles is a wonderful exception to this rule. From the pig snorts, bubble glubs, situational sound effects and original music, The Banshee Chronicles has a lot of potential as an original world and is definitely worthy of a large following.
