Day 130: Nathan Condemns David (2024)
Fr. Mike touches on the sins of David, and how we can see ourselves in these fallen characters in scripture. God desires a relationship with us free from sin, and although it may be painful, he brings these things into the light not out of anger, but out of love. Day 129: David Commits Adultery (2024)

Day 127: Kindness for the House of Saul (2024)

Day 126: David's Victories (2024)
Fr. Mike emphasizes how King David's victories in battle are part of his calling to establish Israel as a kingdom. He also reminds us that the recapitulation of the events we read about 1 Chronicles 10-11, is not repetitive, it served a specific purpose for the people of Israel. Day 125: Covenant with David (2024)
Fr. Mike highlights the moment God makes a covenant with David, promising him an everlasting dynasty, but reserving the building of the Temple to David's son Solomon. Best podcast there is
I’m not a Catholic but I can surely say that listening to this podcast has improved my relationship with God. Father Mike is doing a great job both in reading the Word and providing commentary at the end of each episode. I have to add that I don’t always agree with his thoughts - but more often than not I find them incredibly useful, both in discerning lessons from the material and providing additional context.
If you want to listen to a podcast, you just can’t go wrong with this one. Phenomenal work.

This is an outstanding podcast. This is my third year listening to 365 days of the podcast. Each time, I deepen my understanding of the Bible.
Such a Gift
Thank you for making the Bible’s content so accessible. Many times some passages I find elusive and at times I am uncertain of the context when I try to tackle them on my own. Thank you Father Mike for bringing your keen insights and deep understanding and enthusiasm for God’s word to the listeners. Old stories are brought to life and characters become relatable and I feel like I can glimpse into God’s plan for us…finally!
