Happy Easter from The Cider Shed

Happy Easter from The Cider Shed

Hello everyone, as you probably know, we're having a little break from the regular pod this weekend. Normal service will resume shortly.
Over at our Patreon there's a bumper Easter episode released as a little thank-you.
Join us as we travel back to Easter 2014 in Ambridge, the week before Tom and Kirsty were to tie the knot, witness a Chrisifixtion on Lakey Hill and meet Cocoa, Shula's bomb-proof pony. Or was that Belinda? We forget.
We threw in some of your favourite ads and there's multiple tests for the brain such as 'Who Wants to be a Bartle-Billionaire?', take two of 'Film Warbis', 'Village or Shittage (Badger Edition)' and a very special 'Swindon Tales of The Unexpected'.
    Thanks for all your support.
    Enjoy your cheese eggs.
    Lots of love,
    TCS

torontopodder ,

Finally an Archers pod for me!

Living in Toronto, Canada, the Archers is a very solitary guilty pleasure listen on Sundays. I’ve tried to listen to other archers fan pods for some company, but found their takes not to my taste. Then I found the cider shed - a very smart and silly and smutty take on the radio soap we love to hate. Top marks for music knowledge and other cultural references from this tailend Gen Xer. Must confess that many weeks, I only listen to this pod not the soap itself. Please continue!

Excited to start listening

I just found this podcast and can’t wait to binge on all the episodes. I have missed you guys. I was a listener to a previous podcast you were on. Congratulations on this podcast. I love the name. Cheers.

“…balls deep in a wheat sheaf…”

That is just one of the lines that made me laugh out loud in the latest episode of the Cider Shed. I love the Archers, but no one else I know does, so podcasts are a wonderful way to feel part of a larger community. And I’ll admit to being cast adrift for some time in that regard. I was dubious about a new podcast, since there have been others that I haven’t taken to, but believe me when I say that if you are looking for a podcast about the Archers that you will look forward to listening to all week, this is the one.
