#43- The Divine Art of Wanting with Heather Rackam

#43- The Divine Art of Wanting with Heather Rackam

Do you know what you want?

Let me take you back to about 6 years ago.  I had 4 kids, the life I always dreamed of and I was miserable.

Since I had everything I thought I wanted I had forgotten that I could continue to want and grow and evolve.

Come along with Heather Rackam and me as we both share our personal experiences with wanting at specific stages in our motherhood.  Our conversation touches on what wanting might mean for you, what being stuck in the habit of not wanting might look like, why wanting is so important, and the connection between wanting and divinity or the universe as we learn to co-create a life that feels meaningful to us.

#40-Making other people happy isn't Your job.

Have you taken on the tremendously heavy job of trying to create happiness for the people in your life?

Your kids, your spouse, your friends, your in-laws?

In this episode I am talking all about happiness, and how it's actually impossible to create this emotion for anyone other than yourself.

I am diving into the importance of emotional responsibility, some of the ways that we as parents get trapped in fixing problems that aren't ours to fix, and some of the disadvantages we may create for our kids when we do so.

Listen in to learn more about how your life can change for the better when you truly understand that your happiness has more to do with you, and less to do with anyone or anything that's going on in your life.

The encouragement this momma needs!

I have always been blessed with a natural confidence and love of being me. But when I became a mom I felt completely overwhelmed. Four years in, I still feel like a hot mess mom and struggle with confidence in my parental abilities. This podcast is so relevant and helpful. I’m really happy I found it. ☺️
