A very important podcast
Podcasts like these need support and encouragement. History will show that respectful, common sense and intelligent voices like these should not have been suppressed or ignored.
Future episodes
Would love to hear your take on the pending closure of the Tavistock clinic and the investigation. Also your take on certain Scandinavian countries, France and the U.K abandoning the affirmation approach. Thank you for all you do and loved the book.

Debra is the greatest!
I have thoroughly loved every episode of this podcast so far. Debra’s old podcast Wrongspeak was great but this series is even better. Incredible guests and super important discussions. Episodes 39 and 40 with James Lindsay are a must listen for every parent. My feedback for Debra is that we as parents are at a complete loss regarding the actual steps we can take to protect our kids. We always hear “talk with them” which I do as much as they will tolerate but these issues are so complex and it’s not easy to explain the full logic and arguments to a child or even an adolescent. I’ve also tried talking with the school but get generally dismissed and talked over with convoluted education babble. I’ve asked to see the detailed curriculum but have become aware that most of the gender discussions in my kids classes are happening with the teacher “organically” and are not part of the curriculum. I am trying my best but getting nowhere. I have two pre-adolescent girls one of whom has a learning disability so is even more impressionable and at risk. Debra….please consider an episode that discussed a practical, tangible, detailed list of actions that parents can take to protect their kids in the school environment. Not “talk to them” or “talk to the school” or “review the curriculum”. I’ve done all that. We need a more creative, helpful action plan. Advice from other parents who have had success. There are organizations in the US that exist solely to help parents work through this. It I can’t find any in Canada. Help!
