    High High’s and Low Low’s

    I used to describe myself as manic. I would have extremely high high’s and extremely low low’s. And through the work that I do with my clients and the work that I do with myself, I no longer experience such HIGH HIGH’s and such LOW LOW’s. 


    That is until a few weeks ago. I had an extreme low. It felt like the days where I would cry so hard. I would curl up into a ball and I wouldn’t want to move. I felt paralyzed. I felt stuck. I felt empty.

    Who are you?

    Who are you?

    I used to believe that I hated the taste of mushrooms, and one day in my teens I decided that I was no longer going to hate mushrooms, I was going to enjoy mushrooms. I changed my identity in that moment. I became a person who liked mushrooms (not the magic kind!!). 
    It was something so small, so strange. Looking back, I can’t even remember why I did it. But it was a clear decision. I was going to train myself to enjoy mushrooms. I think it might have been because my close friends liked mushrooms a lot, and I didn’t enjoy ripping them off the pizza - I honestly can’t remember. 
    But that one shift, made it so clear that I can change any aspect of my identity - at any time and so can you.

This podcast is so needed right now! Wellness is composed of so many facets and Alicia includes all of these in her podcast. I especially enjoyed the episode "Let That Sh*t Go" and how Nina wrote through the flow and inspiration coming to her.
