Best podcast ever

This is such a gem. I discovered it and devoured it in a few days. As a small farmer obsessed with the history of farming methods and also as an anthropology graduate, I feel like you actually made this for me. I had the best day today, weeding tall weeds with my 100+ year old scythe and listening to the peasant farming. It transported me into time for sure! It also makes me think a lot about how my “hobby” wouldn’t have been relaxing, but instead anxiety provoking for much of history. Anyway, The industrial revolution episode, and the Neolithic farming episode, are making me think about the classic phrase - we are over fed and undernourished today. Oh how I wish to just forage sometimes. But technology is pretty nice too. If you can’t tell, your podcast is very thought provoking and feels straight out of my anthro degree with its holistic look at societies. Except… more fun. THANK YOU

Fantastic podcast on food history

I recently found this podcast and have been marathon listening. So well narrated and incredibly soothing with relevant gentle background music. As a food history nerd this is exactly the podcast I was looking for. A bonus, no annoying chit chat with guests!
