Super informative and easy to understand

This podcast is giving me and my trainer a lot to think about with respect to my sport horse; particularly the discussion about the nuchal ligament and the impact neck troubles can have on the rest of the body. I feel this may be a missing piece of our puzzle! My vet is now listening :)

Great information

At first I thought it would be hard to understand such thorough information through a podcast, but if you know a little horse anatomy you can actually learn so much. I am really grateful I gave it a shot and that this information is available. Thank you!

Amazing and so reassuring.

Thank you so so much for putting this out there. There is absolutely nothing written on the thoracic girdle and the Impact of tack to the extent that it’s a problem. I have been an Equine Body Worker for 23 years and find myself working predominantly on horses that have problems that actually arise from the their thoracic girdle but who are being labeled as stifle, hock, lumbar-sacral, etc. Or whose behaviour has become so bad that they are labeled dangerous. The thing they all have in common from my work is that it comes from the very area that you discuss. I’ve found ways to help horses and get them back to work but much like everything it works with some horses very well and some horses have nerve damage and it gets a whole lot harder.
What can make a HUGE difference is someone like you who has the experience, the education and the statistical reference along with a protocol that you have developed that could potentially help horses who suffer if you had the reach.
