It's a big Bears day with stadium conversation & NFL Draft (Hour 1)
Mike Mulligan and David Haugh opened their show by reacting to the Bears on Wednesday unveiling their proposal to build a new state-of-the-art publicly owned stadium along the lakefront. The project is estimated to cost $4.7 billion, about half of which would need to be footed by taxpayers. Mully and Haugh also previewed the NFL Draft. In the second hour, Mike Mulligan and David Haugh were joined by Bears president Kevin Warren to discuss the Bears' plan to build a new lakefront stadium, a vision the organization publicly unveiled in a presentation Wednesday. Later, Arlington Heights mayor Tom Hayes joined the show to share his response to the Bears unveiling their vision to build a stadium on the lakefront. The Bears own 326-acre Arlington Park, and Hayes believes Arlington Heights is still the best option for the organization.
