Chill Pill
The podcast always has interesting guests, but Chloe Malle is obnoxious and needs to calm down.
I found the recent episode with Anna Delvey quite hard to listen to, as the editors seemed to be mocking her throughout the interview. It was petty and just poor journalism. Why do the interview in the first place if you’re just going to treat the subject and the interview as a joke?! I was very unimpressed.
Restored my faith in fashion journalism & Vogue
An absolute delight - the hosts & the guests. The only podcast I listen to religiously and the most entertaining and informative fashion podcast out there. True fashion nerds will appreciate Chloe Malle’s insane knowledge on both current trends and fashion history. Readers are also very lucky to have the current editor of British Vogue, Chioma Nnandi, delight us with her sartorial tales. Highly recommend ⭐️
Yikes
I too would be the host of a Vogue podcast if my mom was Candice Bergen and could get SJP to interview on a whim. This must be the only thing going for Chloe; as she seems clueless to most fashion topics dicussed. At the very least, be familiar with current designers if reporting on them. I physically cringed and had to turn off the pod after she didn’t know who the current creative director of Vetements is. Like, why would we listen to you? It sucks as someone who works in the fashion industry, and has to hurdle hoops and see others do the same to be recognized when these out of touch nepos have “prestige jobs”with zero to no actual fashion knowledge.
the “Every Outfit” podcast hosts can talk for hours about fashion, with insightful critiques, opinions, and a full comprehension on the designers they dissect. It’s a shame duos like them aren’t working for Vogue instead. Rather, we get no substance banter about who showed at whatever current fashion week. This podcast is for fashion beginners or people who don’t know much about how the industry works. Not for people already working within the industry, since they tend to overexplain the most basic of duties as if their listeners are 10th graders who have never seen a runway show in their lives.
