The Space Between Doug and Nick
-
- Religion & Spirituality
Between ourselves and others, there is a space. Sometimes that space is too small for certain topics. The space can be stretched and even be broken. But sometimes you meet another person with a shared spirit. And the space between is big enough for almost anything.
Friends. Brothers. Fellow Jesus Followers. Doug and Nick choose topics that are of interest regarding various areas, but especially around spirituality, and simply dialogue about them. They think differently and have differing opinions - which makes the conversation fantastic.

Following Jesus
Synopsis:
In season 2, Doug and Nick are engaging the Brethren in Christ core values. The Brethren in Christ (BIC) started as a small Anabaptist denomination in Pennsylvania almost 250 years ago, that has grown to become a global denomination across several continents and many countries. You can learn about them at www.bicus.org. The 5 questions they're asking are:
1. What does this core value mean? (Define it)
2. What is your experience with it?
3. How does it impact your relationships?
4. Do you have any problems with it?

A Time To Catch Up
Synopsis: The Space Between is trying something a little different for season two - release, with great regularity rather than complete spontaneity, our episodes each month (on the 15th) which means pre-recording episodes.
This episode was recorded exactly 4 months ago. Which means that we were catching up before the 2nd COVID lock down, after the 1st presidential debate, prior to the election .... and we're talking about all that stuff and more. Fascinating to listen to our predictions about these things and see how they aged.
We hope you enjoy catching up with us and once again we look forward to further dialogue here on our Facebook Page. Lets lean in as a community rather than away.
Welcome to the Space Between.
Please look for us on Facebook ("The Space Between Podcast") as a way to continue dialogue regarding episode topics.

Pilgrims
Synopsis: The Underground Bunker was alive with conversation regarding where we are in our spiritual lives. On a previous episode Nick mentioned that he was not a Universalist and Doug mentioned that perhaps he was a Buddhist. And although this particular episode was on our upcoming roster we felt that this may one the appropriate time to jump in. We encourage you to consider where you might be in your own Spiritual Journey ... how would you describe your influences and your particular theological understandings?
