Great stories

Really interesting mix of stories and good commentary. Highly recommended.

Luke Jones and Roger Boyes Sum up the

US drug problem. Fentanyl = ‘yellow peril’. The US medical establishment, US drug dealers, porous US-Mexico border, and Mexican drug lords who manufacturer the drug are all blameless. China is guilty for exporting the legal components (such as bleaching agents) They even go further and say that this is Chinese payback for the Opium Wars with the British?? Get some grip on reality. For some reason, throughout the podcast, they call the president of China ‘Ji’. 2023-12-10.
Ya ya the panda in the Memphis zoo was sick, not just old. Her fans around the world, including American fans, in social media called for her return to China for her sake. I never heard anyone comparing her to a ‘much younger panda in Russia’, but to older panda like An an in Hong Kong which died in 2022 at the age of 35, much older than Ya ya. An an was very old and happy to the end. Ya ya was old and visibly sick. 2023-12-28.

Shameful

Broadcasting “stories” about Kate’s whereabouts and photo tweaks, justifying it as news is embarrassing. How are you feeling now that you contributed into bullying her to reveal her cause of absence? To think the Times was once the gold-standard in news casting…
