retrospective reflections | the secrets to finding happiness with my 85-year old gran The Twenties Detox

    • Self-Improvement

Hey Twentysomething!

Welcome to episode 15 of the Twenties Detox (S1.E15) ~ where we talk about all the struggles of early adulthood and develop better mindsets for growth and healing.

Today, we have another retrospective reflections episode! You may remember the episode I recorded a few months ago with my great aunt Reena, where we discussed overcoming life's challenges through perseverance and faith. Today, I am honored to have someone who possesses the same level of strength and determination, as well as the Norwegian grit that runs in our family. Mary Brown is Reena’s younger sister, and despite growing up in the same household, their personalities couldn't be more different! Mary has always been someone who has shown me what it truly means to live life to the fullest. She even has the sign “carpe diem” hanging outside which is  a latin saying to seize the day. Her unwavering positivity and infectious laughter have brought immense light to my family, and in a world that can often feel overwhelming, her example provides invaluable lessons on how to lead a long, healthy, and happy life. So, without further ado, I am thrilled to welcome my wonderful grandmother, well we call her Granny Mary, to the podcast.

Sit back and relax. Hope you enjoy!

xoxo
