WONDERFUL (:
I loved every minute of it. I love it cuz well I love zombies and being read to. Yah I know I'm just a kid and that was a terrible way to explain how I loved it but thats all I got, I loved it and I think anyone else between 11-16 will love it if you love zombies like I do (:
Good Story, Writing can be Adolescent at Times
I've thus far enjoyed the basic premise of this story although the narrator's voice is often too adolescent for my liking. However, I think it was a good effort by the author and if you like zombie stories with a blend of government conspiracies then this may be for you. Listen to the first few chapters and judge it for yourself.
I like zombie stories...
but this is not a likeable zombie story. I've listened to the first 3 (or 4 possibly) parts, and it's just not coming together. I like "government + zombies" story, but, really, it was easier for the government to pass laws and develop tech to clone humans (keeping all that secret), than just secretly kidnap humans? And, they let their prize subject wander about? Maybe these mysteries would be revealed to me in later chapters, but I just don't care to find out...
Putting the plot points aside, there is very little description in this book. Who are these characters? What do they look like? All we get are cliche's. The main character oftens comes up with something like "and so the only thing to do was...", but, really, it wasn't!:)
This story seems to be all plot, and no story.
