Tipping Our Cap to America’s Hat Crying in My Car: A Podcast for Teachers

Zero gravity classrooms are the new frontier of teaching…

Welcome back to Crying In My Car, a podcast for teachers! Join our hosts Devin Siebold and James Yon as they unravel the controversy of teachers hitting the recording studio. Can educators drop bars without dropping standards? With Elon Musk and Spaceforce, teaching in space is just around the corner, so how will zero gravity affect how we teach? Finally Canada is amazing, and our hosts discuss their trip to the great white north.

Some educators have decided to trade lesson plans for lyric sheets, even to the point of putting their students into their music videos! Are these jams purely educational, or are these teachers just looking for background singers? We're going to have a freestyle debate that'll have you nodding your head to the rhythm of education reform.

On top of that, our hosts float a thought-provoking question past us – could zero gravity be the classroom of tomorrow? Would kids be able to stay in their seats? Could you imagine how fun recess would be? And would snack time lead to a crumb covered fiasco? Either way we think living out our childhood dream of being an astronaut would be worth all the messes we’d have to clean up.

We also take a trip up north where we discuss all our favorite things about our neighbors up north - Canada. From poutine to hockey we all know the classic things Canada is famous for, but why is nobody talking about this exchange rate? With it Americans get essentially a 30% discount on anything in Canada, so we were spending money like Rockefeller!

So grab your poutine and tell Houston to cut down on the chatter so you can listen to this week’s episode of Crying in my Car, a podcast for teachers!
