Great, but Ad Reads Need Work!
The podcast is well-formatted and very informative, but I just have a small annoyance: whenever Sean Rameswaram reads an ad his voice sounds condescending, like he’s laughing/making fun of whatever it is Vox is promoting. I’m not invested in any of the products/services, but if I were paying for ad space, I wouldn’t want the ads read that way.
Noel’s bemusement re all things Trump; love it
The following advice from a comic is best perspective to adopt re all things Trump: Just imagine a good friend tells you there’s a horse in the local hospital. All else that follows will make perfect sense.
Fantastic show
Found this recently and have been going through the library of old episodes and they’ve all been super interesting. I just listened to the most recent episode where the host spoke with some Christian theologian about IVF. I don’t know how the host managed to be so respectful and keep it together while an insane person spouted religious nonsense to justify restricting reproductive rights. Truly. You are a super star.
