Excellent podcast!

Love every element: thoroughly researched, well reported and a powerful voice for the ‘free Britney’ movement. With this kind of exposure it’s hard to imagine that Britney’s conservatorship won’t soon be cancelled once and for all. Hopefully there’ll be another podcast in the not too distant future in which we follow the criminal prosecution of Jamie Spears and all of his fellow thieving minions.

Well done. You can tell Tess & Babs blood, sweat and tears went into this podcast. They give you a complete picture (as much as they can) of Britney’s journey leading up to her Conservatorship. I loved the deep dives into her accounting, the interviews with the Conservatorship judge, their conversation with Ronan and all of the details that separated their podcast from other documentaries and articles covering brits con. Initially I wasn’t especially interested in listening to another podcast about Britney. I felt I knew everything there was to know but their conversations with those close to Britney and other industry professionals/ relevant professionals brought something new and interesting to the table. Thank you!

Meh.

The Britney story is such an interesting saga, and I expected this podcast to be conducted with the same seriousness and professionalism that NY Times did in their documentary.

The hosts are REALLY annoying, I can’t stress this enough. They love injecting pointless information about their own lives and friendship way too often, and use annoying catch-phrases and inside jokes that are just distracting and cringe. I’m also not a fan of both of them narrating, shifting back and forth, like they are reading a book aloud.

I give them 3 stars because they do provide some interesting information and interviews with key players that are missing from other documentaries (like Jason Allen Alexander). They lose two stars because they are overly jokey and unprofessional with very serious subject matter.
