“I will make of you a great nation, I will bless you, and I will make your name great; and you are to be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, but I will curse anyone who curses you; and by you all the families of the earth will be blessed.””
B'resheet (Gen) 12:2-3 CJB. Gal 3:13-14

Blessing and cursing are vehicles of supernatural empower for good or for evil. - blessing for good and curses for evil. -Blessing is a believer’s empowerment to fulfil God’s purposes of his life ... and curse is aimed at disarming and disempowering a believer from succeeding in God’s purposes and plans. - In scripture when nations fought it was a practice that they would curse their enemies and disempower them before the war. - Israel’s practice was to make a sacrifice before a war. - When David was to fight Goliath, Goliath cursed David by his gods; (1 Samuel 17:43 TLV).
So in other words Goliath cursed the David and his God by the gods of philistines...
While we are mean for good the enemies of God are cursing us by their gods. It is for that reason in Abrahamic blessing there is a protective clause of a curse to those who curse people who are in covenant with God of Abraham, God of Isaac and God of Jacob (Israel)
2. Generally Blessing and curses continues on form generation to generation.... - a curse usually continues from generation to generation until someone is able to discern and deal with it. - the blessing too will continue from generation to the other. It can be stoped only if there is a legal right for a curse to cancel that generational blessing... Proverbs 26:2 NASB1995.
so there must be a course for a curse to come in our lives.... - at times blessing can simultaneously operater alongside a curse in a person. David was blessed by God for generations even today the blessing is still in effect. In fact the New Testament Messianic community is built in the Tarbanacle of David. Yeshua is called the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of DAVID in eternity Rev 5:5. Notice that there was a curse pronounced by God in David’s house 2 Sam 12:1-9.
But the curse did not cancel the blessing. It is possible that one can enjoy a blessing in one area and endure a curse in the other. 3. Blessing or Curses inherited from previous generations..... - it is possible that we my inherit and enjoy blessing we have never worked for.. Of course one can enjoy a blessing and still go to eternal hell if they don't have a relationship with God... - it is also possible that one can endure a curse for previous generations and still go to heaven ... 4. The vehicles of blessing and curses are usually words - whether Spoken, written or pronounced internally ... 5. Blessing and curses can be transmitted by physical objects... - people were healed by touching the garment of Paul. A woman with issue blood touched the Tsietsi of Yeshua’s Garment and was made whole... Paul in 1 Cor 10:16 called communion a cup of blessing ....
