The Mountain: Reflections on our Core Values
This week's service focuses on UU-affiliated Mountain Retreat and Learning Center, which has been in operation since 1979. Steph Anderson's sermon (yes, it IS a sermon! If you're at the pulpit on Sunday morning, you're delivering a sermon) it serves as an explainer to us Roswell congregants. While theirs is not a church home as such, it is a place people gather to call home if only for a few days, in a natural setting.

While The Cat's Away
Duncan Teague, our guest in the pulpit, recommends we savor a jelly donut while considering the wisdom of Albert Camus: "Eternity was here, while I was waiting on it."The sabbatical is similar to a school's spring break, but we often miss the fact that not only is the minister gone to explore, like Rev. Dave Dunn, but also the congregation has an opportunity to also explore collectively, how we want our ministry to look and feel while the leader is away.
