I binged it <3
Very enjoyable! The narration was well done and the guests were genuinely excellent. It would be awesome if it got way more obscure women though, not to be a huge nerd but I’d heard most of these stories before. It could also be a LOT less speculative on the unknown motivations of the women if they’re completely unknowable, it just seemed very minimizing of their possible intentions. I hoped it was gonna be a really cool feminist angle to use the category by which these women were pigeonholed to examine how that pigeonholing had occurred as a new perspective, and it asks (doesn’t always answer) some questions, but this could dig a lot deeper in a number of directions. I didn’t feel like I got to know any of the killers the way I wanted to, though I imagine that’s tough when there are few interviews or statements from a person to work with in the first place, which might be the case given the subject matter.
Having said all those things, I listened to it all back-to-back and loved the interviews. 🤓✌️
Great!!
