In this episode I’m chatting with senior yoga and meditation instructor, Sean Patrick who shares the truths about yoga that you might not know!
Sean believes we are all self-healing all the time. He explains how we misunderstand yoga in our culture and shares what the true intention of yoga is. If we choose to acknowledge the deep truths Sean discusses, not only would we live completely differently, but our experience with this ancient practice would also be completely different.
Sean is a Health and Wellness Adult Educator with the Toronto District School Board, a Yoga Therapist with Shaughnessy Chiropractic Clinic, and a retreat facilitator, in Ontario and internationally.
He discovered yoga while studying at the Ivey Business School at Western University and has been in love with the practice ever since.  Originally, he embraced yoga as a means of anxiety and stress management, however his love for yoga and wellness grew alongside his career.  After spending years in management at large packaged goods and apparel companies, Sean completed a master’s degree in Adult Education from the University of Toronto, a Postgraduate Degree in HRM, and the Chartered Human Resource Professional designation.  
At this point on his journey, his interests are expanding to the psychological, and philosophical spectrums of the human experience, focusing on how healing and self-empowerment can be applied and practiced.
