Jooce
Influenced by Common and Nas, Jooce a recruiter for the US Army started out as a poet before rap ultimately became his passion. With little money to put towards college, he enlisted into the Military 2 weeks after graduation high school in July of 2012. Having to travel a lot with little time to pursue hiphop, he was lucky enough to come across a soldier with a recording studio in his barracks. Since then, his processes, inspirations, and creativity have given him the balance he needs to continue serving with honor.

Diego Young
Rich Z speaks to a Jersey City emcee by the name of Diego Young, and taps into his creative consciousness. Currently stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina, Diego opens up balancing his rap life with his military, father, and 9-to-5 lives, as well as the dichotomy of being a rapper and producer. While not letting the military life influence his bars, Diego also explains where he gets his inspiration from within his service and how it’s made him into the artist he is today.
