D'WORD is a project to spread God’s Word in a very youthful manner. We aim to expose God’s word and see it in the daily life of the youth. We also aim to prepare the viewers for the Sunday Mass and lastly, to provide a venue where life and spirituality can be discussed in a very casual manner.

    Sir Danmark Geronimo, also known as Kuya DM, guests in this D'Word episode 2 of season 3. It was recorded July 24. Kuya Dan Mark is a graduate ofBachelor of Secondary Education Major in Religious Education and Pastoral Communication in Don Bosco College Canlubang. Currently, he is preparing for his comprehensive exam sa Masters Education ng Guidance and Counselling. He is active in the Catholic Charismatic Group called The Feast.

    Kuya JP leads the Opening Prayer. With Bro Paul, Ferl, Cheska and Branny, they begin sharing on "ambag" stories. Rev. Jojo Torres, SDB shares the gospel for the 17th Sunday in Ordinary Time. Bro. Paul, Cheska and Ferl then clarifies and explains the Gospel.

    After the game "Sagutin Mo ng Ulam", Kuya DM begins by sharing one of his passions in life, the outreach projects he and his girlfriend, are involved in. He shares on his greatest learnings, his expereinces of miracles similar to that in the Gospel, and what keeps him going in serving the poor and the marginalized. Lastly, he reflects on his 5 loaves and 2 fishes that he wants to share to Jesus. 

    Next, the hosts share their own answers to the PRACTICE OF THE WEEK : “What are my 5 LOAVES AND 2 FISHES that I wish to give to Jesus for the good of others?”

    Fr. Ramil Maranan, SDB, a priest assigned in Don Bosco Mandaluyong as a Spiritual Moderator on his 5th year, guests in this D'Word Podcast, recorded as a Livestream on June 17, 2021. He was born and grew up in Calamba, Laguna and like many Salesians, he is close to the Youth and to the Word of God. 

    Bro Paul, Branny, Ferl, JP and Cheska return as hosts. After the opening prayer, they begin sharing on experiences of instants, short cuts, fast results and the anxieties involved. Rev. Jojo Torres, SDB shares the gospel for the 16th Sunday in Ordinary Time. Bro. Paul, JP and Branny then clarifies and explains the Gospel, Jesus knowing the needs of the disciples and the people.

    After a "fast Talk" Game, Fr. Ramil begins by sharing his greatest childhood dream. He then shares his experience of working hard and stretching for something and its reward. The sharing with Bro Paul, Ferl and Cheska goes deeper when the topic shifts to prayer and Fr. Ramil's daily prayer and his concept of Don Bosco's "Work is Prayer". His take of the experience of the apostles in the Gospel, and then his experience of Jesus as the Good Shepherd, and Fr. Ramil's challenges in following Jesus as a shepherd in his ministry. Lastly, he relates the topic tonight to the Salesian Life motto "Salesian Life as hard, happy and holy."

    Next, the hosts share their own answers to the PRACTICE OF THE WEEK : “What REWARD / REST will I give myself after a tiring day?” “How shall I end my day?”

Jerome just celebrated his 2nd year anniversary as a priest. So far in the Philippine North Province of the Salesians, he is the youngest priest.He is assigned in Don Bosco Tarlac as Spiritual Moderator. He is a member of the Commission on Social Communications of SDB FIN. Kuya Stephen, commonly called "Kuya Pipoy", is from Tondo, Manila, from Parish of St. John Bosco. He is a teacher by profession and student of Master in Religious Studies Program, Major in Youth Ministry at Don Bosco School of Theology. Currently, a full time Youth Minister in the Secretariat of the Episcopal Commission on Youth under the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines. 

    This episode is hosted by Bro. Paul, Cheska, Ferl and PM. Kuya PM leads the opening prayer. They then share experiences on the importance of knowing the labels to acknowledge relationships. Bro. Jojo narrates the gospel for Holy Trinity Sunday (Found here). Bro. Paul and Fr. Jerome then explain the Gospel. It was about Jesus' mandate to the apostles to baptize all the nations, then about the sacrament of baptism and the Holy Trinity.
